A favorite cruise among past travelers; the Golondrina Galapagos yacht provides affordable rates and in-depth itineraries for guests looking for the adventure of a lifetime. Their five-day itinerary covering the west loop of the Galapagos, rare in cruises of all classes, marks the appeal and variety found within programs. A cost-effective way of cruising the islands, Golondrina Galapagos yacht has proven over and over to be an excellent choice. A spacious and beautifully appointed cruise that offers guests with clean and unobtrusive amenities. One of the few yachts in the islands to offer a five-day tour covering the west loop; a rare commodity as most cruises tend to cover this portion of the islands on eight-day programs. Lastly, a professional and welcoming staff awaits your arrival, ready to make the most of your journey and assist you every step of the way.

The Golondrina Galapagos yacht balances perfectly indoor and outdoor areas, affording guests plenty of places to find a corner on their ship to enjoy the spectacular Galapagos views and unwind between excursions in the afternoon. Soak up the equatorial rays on the sundeck solarium while watching Galapagos wildlife pass by, and enjoy stunning sunsets and stars in the evening. Additionally, the shaded lounge area is perfect for enjoying a snack, feeling the sea breeze, and mingling with the other guests.

Heading into the interior, guests have a classicly decorated salon area with wood finishes, plenty of furnishing, and a flatscreen television with DVD for enjoyment. Nearby, enjoy the full bar stocked with international and local liquors, beer, and fine wines. The dining experience of the Golondrina Galapagos yacht is exquisite, with a professional sous chef preparing three daily meals using local ingredients. Enjoy the best of international cuisine, along with local specialities and fresh seafood. These meals are typically served buffet-style, allowing guests to eat until satisfied.

The Itineraries of the Golondrina Galapagos yacht really stand out, holding itinerary options not typically found on other cruises. Among them, the five-day western loop which explores much of Isabela Island, which holds the Sierra Negra volcano, bountiful marine species including whales, penguins, and dolphins, and a land rich area with wildlife species like the wild tortoises. The Golondrina has many other itinerary options, with durations of four to eight days all of which are combinable for extended stays.

Leading you throughout the adventure is your Galapagos natural park guide, a veteran of the trade with knowledge of every inch of the park. He is extremely entertaining and always friendly, taking your safety as a priority at all times. Our family was in the Galapagos celebrating some major milestones, so we had high expectations for this trip. We chose the 8D/7N cruise visiting the Eastern islands. Our time on the Golondrina EXCEEDED every expectation and we had THE MOST AMAZING time. From snorkeling in crystal clear water to swimming with sea lions to pristine beaches & landscapes, I can’t pick a favorite. The boat was older than some, yet the accommodations were cozy & comfortable. The crew were delightful and made our safety & comfort their priority. Elliott & Sarah cooked up some AMAZING dishes. And Roberto, our guide, was so knowledgeable about the geography, animals & conservation efforts while amazing us with his animal calls and even sent us off with videos of our snorkeling adventures for which we are grateful. I could not have asked for anything more.

It has been great!! The nature of Galapagos is paradise. The cruise on the Golondrina was great; very nice crew! Very good cook; better food than we eat at home. Everything went well and according to plan. I really recommend my friends, go to Galapagos! Thanks for your help. With kind regards, Carolina

In short, our trip was wonderful. Everybody, from the people who met us at the airports, to the drivers, to the hotel staff, and especially the crew on the boat were friendly and great at their jobs. As the organizer of the trip, I really appreciated how easy all of our steps were. It allowed me to focus on teaching and looking out for the students. The students all had a fantastic experience. Thank you for all of your help and patience throughout the process. I would certainly recommend GreenGo to anyone.
I booked a 5day/4night Golondrina boat cruise to Isabella/Fernandina/Santiago islands with GreenGo and worked with Alik. The experience was extremely easy, fast and the prices were the same or better than those from agents in town. I went with the last-minute booking option when I arrived to Puerto Ayora and went to probably a dozen agencies there. No negative feedback for the shops but it is time consuming to hear them out and have them call all the boats (every company just calls the same boats anyway) but with GreenGo they were able to email me back within about 15 minutes with probably 5-10 options with links to the itineraries, pricing, boat profiles, etc which was a huge help for someone with limited time (and wifi – it’s bad in Santa Cruz island). The price was on par with everyone in town and the bonus was the credit card payment. Yes, there’s a fee, but the fee is much less than what the agencies in town charge (12%) or the ATM fees you have to go through to take out 3-4 different withdrawals to pay cash, which most agencies require. Overall I highly recommend GreenGo and Alik was a pleasure to work with – very fast responses, well-informed and he even followed up several times to make sure all was OK when he hadnt heard from me (again, slow wifi in the Galapagos). Book with confidence and have a great time. Separate feedback for the Golondrina boat (the one I chose based on the route and economical pricing – GreenGo never made any recommendations or pushed any one boat – just gave me the options and let me pick) would be 4 out of 5. The tour itself was great and the boat was perfectly fine. You just dont get some of the nice touches you will get with other boats, but on the flip side you pay less so that’s a nice benefit too. Would likely pick a different boat next time for something different, but would have no issues recommending this one IF you get it at a good price.

Hi Alik, We finally reached our home, after traveling 3 countries on 2 continents. Regarding our cruise on “Golondrina” we were very happy with this trip and would recommend it to our friends, for this price range. This trip was for us great experience in Galapagos and specially in their flora and fauna. Thank you again for your and your co-workers hard work to make our trip to Equateur very memorable experience. Best Regards, Gabriela and Janusz Mirowski
