The cruise was fantastic. The Galapagos is one of the few places I have been to, that I would love to go back to soon. I love travel, but often when I go somewhere, I end the trip thinking, “that was good- on to the next,” but it was amazing. It is not “overrated” at all- it lives up to the hype. The biodiversity and ease of seeing it (the ship helps a lot with that- getting to the different islands) is phenomenal and the people who live there are justifiably proud of their beautiful islands. We saw a lot of amazing wildlife in relatively uncrowded conditions (that is in part because of the pandemic). The ship was clean and pleasant. The crew were kind and helpful. The naturalist, Ivan, was great. Every location we snorkeled was beautiful. Some of our cruise passengers saw a baby sealion be born on the first beach we stopped and snorkeled on. We saw a fur seal in an unexpected place. We also saw a manta ray on 2 different occasions and white tipped reef sharks as well as penguins, flightless cormorants and many other seabirds. Frigate birds would land on Fragata. We saw land iguanas and land tortoises on the islands we were supposed to. The other cruisers were very interesting people with incredible stories to tell. I was very pleased with the cruise and grateful they offered the “shared cabin,” if there had been another female passenger, but was REALLY grateful to get the room to myself (they are small because it is not a huge vessel). Thank you for arranging the lab to send someone out to the hotel to test me for COVID. He was on time, I got the results back quickly, and it was very convenient to pay with credit card ahead of time. It helped me be able to get back home without a hassle, and I was able to get out early to the bus with the day trips I had scheduled from Quito.

We had Danny serve us, he was extremely helpful and provided us with a great set of options, but Fragata really turned out to be the best option for us in terms of dates and itinerary. We couldnt be happier and we had the best holiday/anniversary ever. Thank you Danny & GreenGo Travel!
