La Selva Eco-Lodge & Retreat is located about five hours from Quito, the capital city of Ecuador, via a series of flights, canoe trips, and walks. You will start your journey with a flight from the capital city of Quito down to Coca, located in the Amazon Basin. From there, you will take a two-hour motorized canoe ride down the Napo River, the largest tributary of the Amazon River. Along the way, you will enjoy the scenic views of the jungle and the river. You will then arrive at La Selva’s dock, where you will be greeted by our staff and transferred to a paddle canoe for a short ride across Garzacocha Lake. Finally, you will walk along a raised boardwalk for about 15 minutes until you reach the lodge.
