Denise Thorlund

We had a wonderful time. The whole trip was great and according to plan with very few minor inconveniences. We loved La Casona de la Ronda, very nice place with great staff. We also really enjoyed the Alya, 6 days was perfect for the first time seeing the Galapagos’. The Staff was great and we enjoyed the tours. We really appreciated everything you did to help us put together this trip, it is now one of our all time favorite trip. Thanks again, Denise

Angel, Sorry for the delay in my reply – everything was fantastic! Everything went very smoothly, the boat and staff were terrific, and of course the islands were really amazing. Thanks for everything!

My wife and I just had the most wonderful cruise ever on the Alya. We spent 4 fantastic nights cruising the Galapagos Islands and have nothing but the highest marks to give to the Alya and its crew. Everything was perfect! We celebrated my wife’s 60th birthday on the Alya and I couldn’t have picked a better vacation anywhere else in the world. It was more of a sail on a large and prestigious yacht than it was your typical ocean cruise. Our cabin was large and extremely comfortable as was our bathroom and kingsize bed. The crew kept the boat in immaculate condition and the A/C was wonderful. Our cruise director Michel was adorable, professional and a pure delight to be around. She kept us well informed on everything we needed to know on the entire trip. She even had our cabin decked out with balloons, streamers and a bottle of Chilean “Reservado” cabernet sauvignon with towels shaped like a birthday cake upon our return from a nature hike. The food was exquisite and every meal was better than the one before. All 16 passengers sat at 2 tables of 8 and everyone changed up the seating so as to meet and get to know everyone new at each sitting. Each day saw at least one and sometimes 2 snorkel adventures in the pristine blue Pacific as well as 2 nature and geographical walks. We had the pleasure of having Edgar Vargas as our tour guide. His knowledge and passion of the islands was impeccable and his friendly personality made our time spent with him a real treat. The crew that kept the boat running and the guys that sailed the two dingys were friendly and professional. This was a cruise that we never wanted to end but unfortunately it did after 5 days and 4 nights of never ending fun and adventure. We spent the last 2 days of our trip to Ecuador exploring the Island of Santa Cruz which included a trip to the Charles Darwin Research Center in Puerto Ayora and spent the next day at a fantastic and gorgeous swim beach of Tortuga Bay. Our last night we had a $35 dinner on a closed off street in downtown Puerto Ayora which included Ahi tuna that was caught only hours before as well as shrimp that was absolutely delicious. The dinner price also included a glass of red wine and a tall bottle of Ecuadorian Pilsiner beer. Our last night was as perfect as was our journey on the Alya. I would highly recommend a trip on the Alya. It was the trip of a lifetime and it could’t have anymore perfect. If anyone is thinking about the Alya and has any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Dear Michael, thank you so much for sharing your feedback with us. We are very glad to hear you had such a great time aboard Alia.☺Thank you for visiting Ecuador and the Galapagos. ?
