Below is a comprehensive list of Galapagos tours from 7 days and over that are available for booking. All three of the main islands (
San Cristobal,
Santa Cruz, and
Isabela) are easily accessible on the tours that are available during this time length. This does not necessarily imply that all of our tours that go for 7 days and over will include all three islands. This is because some of our programs may be tailored to specific interests or sites, and it might not be necessary to visit all three islands.
When planning your trip, keep in mind that the first and last day will primarily be spent dealing with the practicalities of entering and leaving the islands. When determining the number of days you would like to spend on a land-based tour at the Galapagos Islands, your decision should take this into consideration. Only activities that take place in the inbetween days would be termed full day activities.
Inter-island transportation alternatives will be offered on Galapagos itineraries that last 7 days and over. However, depending on the conditions of the water, using an inter-island
ferry can take approximately three hours, which is the normal method of transportation. Therefore, you always have the option of taking an airplane that travel internally in the Galapagos. Small planes like these may accommodate anywhere from three to eight passengers, bringing the whole journey duration down to thirty to forty-five minutes.
There is a high probability that yacht day cruises will be included in these extended vacations in the Galapagos for 7 days and over. This is a full-day excursion that will take you to a nearby island, where you will have the opportunity to explore its coastlines, wildlife, and other attractions. These day tours on yachts may be quite expensive, so you might be able to get one or two of them included. In spite of this, given that each of our itineraries are completely adjustable, you may always consult with your trip adviser in the event that you choose to include more yacht day tours in your itinerary.
