Minas de Sal Overview

Salt Mines is the alternate route from Egas Port visit point, an inland leading to the salt mine volcano, with a trail of about 3km in length that ends  at the top of the salt mine crater. Shaped in the form of a small cone, the crater is a seasonal lagoon where shorebirds and flamingos are usually found.
