DAY 6: Sacred Traditions: Wayusa Tea Ceremony to Night Hike
Wayusa tea ceremony starts at 4 am on the Achuar Wayus House by the river. This place allows for different activities during the day and night. It is a great place to relax, observe wildlife, listen to the sounds of the forest, medidate, or even practice yoga, overlooking the Capahuari river.
Join our local shaman for a community hike to the waterfall. At the waterfall, the shaman offers a tobacco ritual and cleansing for guests who are curious to experience the wellness benefits of plant medicine ceremonies in the Amazon.
Have lunch to get more energy to your next adventure. Join a birdwatching boat ride at dawn for a glimpse into the unique biodiversity that is all around Kapawi.
After dinner get ready for a night hike to discover some species of amphibians, reptiles, insects and mammals that are active at night.
