Aproject with over 20 year in the making, Kapawi is an ambitious project that started back in 1993 with the initiative of a local tour operator in partnership with the Achuar community, its sole purpose was to generate a sustainable way for the Achuar’s and other communities found in the surroundings to have a way of living with an economical income without hurting their resources; the true meaning of Eco tourism. Kapawi Eco Lodge is now a reality, the lodge emanates Achuar’s culture even to very design & concept of the architecture (not a single nail was used!). The lodge now entirely belongs to the Achuar Nation making it the largest Eco tourism project available in the Ecuadorian Amazon. Kapawi is located in the depths of Ecuadorian rainforest bordering with Peruvian rainforest far to the southeast, making it the most isolated Eco lodge available, its remote location covers nearly 2 million acres of pristine & untouched forest far from logging; mining or petroleum extraction. Listed programs are only suggested, guest can design the most suitable itinerary that meets their interest & physical condition with their guide & group.

Deep within the Amazonian primary rainforest lies the Sani Lodge, situated amidst pristine untouched nature. The lodge is in close proximity to a variety of important Amazonian hotspots, including the Challuacocha Lake, the Cuyabeno reserve, and the vast Yasuni National Park. The Sani Lodge is owned and operated by members of the Sani community, whom make it a priority to show the world a deeper understanding of what it means to live in harmony with the forest. The lodge is placed the Challuacocha lake, an exceptional location where the best of two protected reserves collide into a unparalleled amount of wildlife, trees, and plants. With over 98,000 acres of untouched surrounding forest, this area holds an exceptional amount of biodiversity & no one better to show you the many wonders than the community themselves. They have created a community project with environmental conservation practices to showcase a sustainable way of living amongst nature.

The lodge Napo Wildlife Center is highly acclaimed with countless reviews and well known in the media, Napo Wildlife Center is a luxury Eco-Hotel that truly lives up to its Eco-tourism & conservation title. Owned and operated by the Anangu Kichwa community, the lodge was built from the ground up by the Indian community themselves, they have put a lot of effort & manpower to have a sustainable way of living without hurting their natural resources, for over 10 years the hunting community have voluntarily ceased their hunting activities. Napo Wildlife Center is found inside Yasuni Territory, a coveted location in the midst of one of the most bio diverse spots in the world. Built next to Anangucocha Lake, the Lodge is accessible only by means of a paddled canoe as a way to protect the forest and preserve the flora and fauna found in the area.

In the midst of primary rain forest lies a pristine ecological reserve, Sacha Lodge is a project that originally begin with only 500 hectares of land has now expanded to its current title of 5000 acres of pristine forest. Sacha Lodge territory is the largest one found in Ecuadorian rainforest, their conservation efforts are truly remarkable, protecting unique natural resources and preventing deforestation in the area. Sacha’s facilities were carefully put together in order to offer the highest comfort possible without getting in the way but rather blend with your surroundings. The lodge also features exceptional characteristics, a 245 meter long canopy walkaway with 30 meters above ground with an incredible surrounding view above the canopy ceiling, a parrot lick in Yasuni’s Park, the Kapok tower perfect for bird watching and much more!
