Small Ship, Big Package
Darwin’s is known as a warm and welcoming vessel that creates an amazing family-like environment. Her style is classic, with guests frequently remarking to us on the beautiful design of the ship. Although she does not boast the megayacht status of other ships, the Darwin Galapagos cruise offers wildlife enthusiasts an affordable option way to experience the islands to the maximum potential, with itineraries full of settlements showcasing the endemic animals of the Galapagos. Designers expertly utilize the space of the Darwin Galapagos yacht, with eight cabins arranged across the three decks. For those that have had a history with any motion sickness, we typically advise them to book with the lower deck cabins where the swaying motion is reduced. Alternatively, if you have no issue and you want a cabin with the best views, the upper deck cabins nearby the sundeck are for you!
The eight double cabins are arranged bunk style and fitted with hotel-quality linens. Each room contains a private bathroom with a hot shower, eco-friendly toiletries, and conditioning. Lower deck cabins feature portholes to let in light. Upper cabins have picture windows, affording guests magnificent sea views upon awakening, right before filling up on energy for the day with a delicious breakfast and local Galapagos Coffee.
We love the airconditioned indoor lounge area of Darwin Galapagos Yacht the perfect place to reminiscence about your Galapagos experiences with fellow guests or catch up on your current book. Additionally, the lounge has 110v power for charging electronics, and a TV/DVD system. Itineraries of the Darwin Galapagos Yacht
The owner of this ship, Manuel Villacís, immigrated to the Galapagos Islands in the 1940s. After falling in love with this incredible land, he made the decision to enter the responsible tourism industry, leading to the building of the Darwin yacht in 1995 in the Galapagos. He carefully designed two itineraries, both all-encompassing and full of adventure.
Four routes are available on the Darwin Galapagos Yacht, with durations lasting between five and eight days, each showcasing different regions across the Galapagos Islands. Each route contains a plethora of pristine beaches, otherworldy wildlife settlements, fascinating historical sites, and top-notch snorkel sites. One route is not better than another per se but is up to the opinion of each guest and which animals they prefer to see.
