Alieri Hill Highlights
Located on the east side of Puerto Velsaco Ibarra, Alieri Hill reaches a maximum height of 340m over sea level. A 15 minute land ride is required to reach the hills valley. Rich in endemic flora, the hill has 48 identified species, including the Scalesia pedunculata tree, which flourishes in february and is currenlty down to the last 15 trees. Colonizers would refer to this species as the “unknown tree”, and was abundant 50 years ago.
