The Tortoise breeding station of Isabela is located 1.5 km from Villamil Port , very similar in efforts to then ones achieved by the Center in Santa Cruz. Giant Tortoises, endemic to Isabela are collected from the surrounding volcanoes & other locations where they're found, to be artificially hatched in their Center, only to be later reintroduced to the wild, ensuring the longevity of their species.
