Cabins of the Mary Anne Galapagos
During your eight days aboard the Mary Anne Galapagos sailer, you will live within one of 12 cabins, with flexible accommodation available to fit any traveler’s needs. Whether you are a family needing a bunk bed and a double bed, or a solo traveler looking for a great deal, the Mary Anne Galapagos cruise has the perfect place for you. As a bonus, the ship was originally made for 24 passengers, but in the Galapagos, the ship provides for 16 passengers meaning more space and a more intimate setting. Each air-conditioned suite of Mary Anne is equipped with portholes for lighting, bountiful closet space for storing belongings, bedside charging ports for electronics(European and North American), reading lights, and a private bathroom with a hot shower and luxury toiletries.
Social Areas of the Mary Anne Galapagos
The Mary Anne is composed of three decks, the uppermost being the beautiful sun deck. Heading towards the front of the ship, you’ll find a shady alfresco dining area with gorgeous panoramic views of the Islands. Lined throughout the solarium is plenty of deck furniture to find a cosy corner to enjoy the stunning volcanic landscapes and Galapagos wildlife flying by.
Within the interior main deck of the ship, enjoy quality time with other guests and family with plenty of tastefully decorated living areas. In the salon area, plenty of entertainment options are available including a curated library, board games, and an entertainment system with a large flat-screen television. The wood-panelled lounge area is composed of cozy U-shaped couches with tables in the middle, perfect for conversation and relaxing. A coffee and snack station is available 24/7 and constantly replenished. Throughout the day, enjoy a delicious cocktail, fine wines, and local beers from the bar stocked with premium and international liquors. These well-lit rooms are lined with large panoramic windows perfect for viewing the outdoors while getting a respite from the sun.
Lastly, the dining area of the Mary Anne Galapagos cruise is a large wood finished communal table. Three times per day, relish in delicious meals crafted by the professional sous chef. This is a blend of national and international cuisine, and the chef can work around any dietary restrictions of passengers.
Itineraries of the Mary Anne Galapagos Cruise
One of our favorite aspects of the Mary Anne is the splendid itineraries, with nonstop 8-day adventure. If you are looking for a complete picture of the islands, combine both itineraries for a wonderful two-week adventure. The itineraries are split into the East and West itineraries, each exploring hidden gems, beautiful landscapes, and breathtaking wildlife settlements. In the Western itinerary, enjoy the young and pristine islands such as Fernandina, as well as Isabella, with gorgeous volcanic formations and oceans teeming with marine life of the likes of whales, penguins, dolphins, and sea lions. In the Eastern Itinerary, enjoy landscapes that seem to be from another planet, along with huge wildlife settlements that have been evolving for millions of years. Among them, the birding paradise of Genovesa, seemingly out of Jurrasic Park, and Espanola island with its impressive landscapes.
