The Alya has some amazing features which anyone would love to enjoy, such as a Jacuzzi on board in the large solarium, external and interior bars, and kayaks as part of the offered activities for guests. In this post, I will introduce you to what’s in store with Alya Galapagos yacht in 2022, including itineraries and services, for the year 2022. This will help you to decide for yourself if the Alya is the right choice for you to cruise the Galapagos.

Alya Twin Suite
Let’s have a look at what the Alya offers and showcase why it’s a great way to tour the Galapagos.

The Alya includes 9 cabins in both the main and upper deck, out of which 8 cabins are available in either twin or double accommodation. A twin cabin has two beds, and a double cabin usually has one bed that will accommodate two people.

These are convertible and are customizable based on your needs. 8 of the cabins also feature a private balcony, which is a great way to enjoy the ocean and volcanoes of the Galapagos.

Passengers traveling in the Alya get to experience the service from eight crew members and a bilingual certified naturalist guide. This luxury catamaran is modern and well designed. A catamaran is arguably the most stable type of vessel in the Galapagos, so a lot of people strongly prefer them. As soon as you’re on board you’ll really get the feeling that there is a ton of attention to detail on this ship.

To be totally frank, the Alya is awesome. If you’re looking for a luxurious travel experience in the Galapagos, then this cruise should definitely be on your shortlist of options.

Ok, so that’s the quick overview of the vessel. Let’s get into what the Alya is offering for the year 2022 to give customers an unforgettable experience.

Itinerary Guideline for Alya Galapagos cruise in 2022

Alya Itineraries Wildlife
The actual itineraries for Alya in 2018 remain the same for the year 2022 as well, which has a nice perk: this means that any reviews you read about the Alya from last year will entirely apply to this year. A total of four different programs are available for you to choose from. All of these itineraries cover different areas of the islands, and each one is a totally unique experience.

This is a program available in both 4 and 5 days, or guests can take the full itineraries back to back, which makes up for itinerary (A). A very well distributed program covering the East South Center and North Islands.

Focusing on the East and the Southern island of Espanola, guests looking to have a quick glimpse of the islands can’t go wrong with this program where they are guaranteed to see a huge variety of wildlife and landscapes. So if you’re a nature lover, this is a great choice!

This itinerary includes the remote island of Genovesa which is known as a bird paradise. This also includes the addition of a stop in Santiago and Bartholomew, which are great areas to check out the land iguanas and tropical penguins. This itinerary will provide you with a great mix of land life and sea birds.

This itinerary the only all navigable program, with no stops. Only available in 8 days. it includes the remote stops of the west including Fernandina, known as the youngest island in the Galapagos. The west part of the archipelago are the youngest and most pristine islands, full of endemic wildlife.

At the end of the day, it’s best to plan your cruise around what interests you in the Galapagos. Which animals do you want to see? Are there any events that pique your interest? Personally, I find the ridiculous strutting of the blue-footed boobies during mating season to be absolutely hilarious. Spend some time reading up on the islands so that you can get the most out of your trip.

Disconnect with nature

The Galapagos is perfect for disconnecting from the technological world and see nature at its finest. With all the endemic species (many of which are only present on a single island), you are definitely going to be having an unforgettable experience.

The Alya  Catamaran has had great success in the past three years and hopes to continue to do so for 2022. With this in mind, the Alya will not be omitting any of the current services they have been offered since the original launch. For the time being no addition of services or programs has been scheduled, however, things might change throughout the year. So you can expect to see any change reflected in GreenGo’s website if anything new develops in the future.

Ultimately, though, the guys at GreenGo as ready and waiting to help you plan your trip. They can help to explain what to expect at different times of the year, as well as match you up with the perfect vacation based on what your interests are. It’s definitely worth reaching out to them to see what they can offer you.
