So...galapagos travel for puerto ayora, it should be pretty straight forward right? board my plane, reach baltra airport, all that's left is reach the nearest town called Puerto Ayora.Baltra is usually the first place most visitors set foot when arriving to the archipelago, unless you are due to board a Galapagos cruise as soon as you get off the plane. It is up to you to get yourself to the nearest town and let the fun begin. Alright, so where do i take a cab? better yet, let me get an uberSorry folks, no uber here, what about a cab? that wont work either… at least not directly. So how do you exactly reach the nearest town? (Puerto Ayora).

Galapagos Evolution - UNESCO declared the Galapagos Islands —an archipelago made up of 127 islands, islets and rocks some 1000 km out west from mainland Ecuador— a World Heritage Site in 1979 because of the uniqueness or endemism of their abundant biodiversity. The Galapagos Islands are home to a greater variety of flora and fauna than anywhere else in the world with a marine environment that is a veritable ‘melting pot’ of marine species. These islands and their marine reserve are known as a ‘living museum and showcase of evolution’.
